Best Mexican food in Tulare, Ca hands down!
One of the best restaurants that Tulare has ever had. I am also the first customer that Vejars had when they first opened on cross street back in the fall of 1975! No kidding, ask Ray
The sweet-n-sour sauce is AMAZING! (YES, I said sweet-n-sour!) Try it with your chips & salsa, you wont be disappointed! Then go ahead and juice up everything else with it..
Small town restaurant, a little out of the way, but authentic Mexican food at a fair price. Breakfast served all day and their signature stuffed fillet is EXCELLENT! For a funner atmosphere, join the locals in the lounge for good conversation, pool tables and sports always on the TVs.
Pretty small amounts for that price.
Seems prices increased and amount has decreased. I ordered a cheese enchilada for $4.69. Waitress asked if I wanted rice and beans. I said no. Then she asked if I wanted 2 enchiladas. I said no. When order came it had 2 enchiladas, rice and beans. Cost. $11.99.
Personally, I think there is better Mexican food out there... But, my wife loves their food, so I go there regularly for her... ;-)
