So let me start off first and far most. My father has cancer and has no energy so we made an app. With Dr miyakawa first time Pt. Just to find out he will not see Dr miyakawa but a NP. Then Wayne my step mom made the appt she asked for them to send the paper work so that he does not have to sit and fill it out mind you that was a month 1/2 ago.. they where suppose to fax . Nothing my step mom called and asked for it again they said they would fax. Waited again nothing .. she called again and waited and nothing. Yet not 1 time did they ask for an address or phone number.. so on June 2 I called my self to let them know that we never received the paper work. Suzan said " we mailed it". I said really well we did not receive it and it's been a month. Suzan said that is why we ask that you come 30 min earlier. I said my father has no energy to sit and wait.. she said well you can come by the office to pick it up, before noon today.. I said well gay won't work as I said before we are at his radiation chemo appt now. She said well then you will have to come 30 min early then. So I said what ever and hung up. I went on Monday morning to get the paper work as his appt would be at 3 pm this afternoon. When I got there they gave me the paper work and I said we still never received it.. she said well I faxed it twice and it didn't work and I didn't have a phone number to call.. I said well didn't you tell me you mailed it on Friday?? And then I said you didn't have a phone number?? That is strange because I seem to recall and reminder call from this office about thebappt.. ALL LIES just lazy ... so my step mom took my dad at 230 pm and his appt is at 3. Paper work all completed again he has NO energy!! They make him sit and wait and finally call him back at 345.. what the hell?? You give an appt for what?? Don't over book on our dime .. Dr miyakawa may be a great Dr. But his office crew needs adjusted. There are plenty of people that need a job and would be more considerate...
Doctor Miyakawa is great. Nurse Practitioner Kim is great too. The staff are very nice. I would recommend this office to anyone who wants a Doctor and staff that care.
I've been a patient for yrs. I dont trust any other Doctor. Dr Miyakawa sits down in the room with you and carefuly listens to your issues and concerns he carefully amd thoughtfully explains everything in normal terms.
