Nice, clean school and helpful teachers.

The counselors are only nice when a parent is in the room, but once you are on your own they can be really rude. I really wanted to change one of my classes but since I don't feel comfortable around the counselors I just avoided it. There have been instances when they have talked behind my friend's back in Spanish. It is totally unacceptable.

Right after school the security walks by and kicks everybody off campus. You are not allowed to stay there like the other schools allow. Also, there is the fact that most of the students don't even know who the principal is. If you go around and ask, most people think that the principal is still the same principal as two years ago. Once I walk into Mission Oak I get a sense of despair, it does not feel like a home.

The rallies are horrible compared to the other schools around here, and there is no school spirit at all. The ASB students literally have to yell at the rest of the campus to stand up at the rallies for the fight song. The teachers also have to remind everybody to stay in their seats until the rallies are over because everybody wants to leave. Which most students I know leave campus before the rallies even start.

It's beautiful here

My first two years of high school have been spent at Mission Oak, every other day. In my time here I have felt completely left out and lonely. There has been a time where I would attempt to skip school days so that I don't have to go here. And at one point I completely gave up on my grades. Which says a lot because I am usually a Straight A student. I also refused to associate with anybody in my classes here because I have felt bullied and lonely. Most of the students are stuck up and Ill-mannered towards people who just want to express themselves. I was bullied on many occasions because of this. And not to mention there are many fights on a weekly basis. I definitely did not feel like apart of this school.

i want mo7 back and bus one

In all honesty , Mission Oak is not a good school to send your children to at the moment. People will be mad at me for posting the truth, but I really don't care at this point. This school has not done anything good for me. I am proud to say that I will be spending my next two years of high school on a different campus.

Although there are many negative qualities to Mission Oak, most of the teachers on this campus are nice. The sports teams are incredible. And the technology is new. These are the three things that I have somewhat enjoyed about this place.

Its a beautiful campus. Awesome teachers that care about your education and motivate you to work hard.
